Abdicate- Transcend Through Sacrifice-2011- Rochester, NY

At first I thought this was nothing new and very straightforward.  After further listening and closer dissection however, this seems to be a refreshing mix of death metal, thrash, and slam elements all in one.  Listen to this when you can pay attention and give Transcend Through Sacrifice the chance it deserves.

The drums and guitar mix perfectly together.  This is filled with catchy riffs and there are a big range of vocals that are all done very well.  The production serves this album very, very well.

Overall, this album is much catchier than 2009’s Forged in Ruins and I would also say more creative!
